SNI 1741 Fire Door Test Report: How to Read It
What the Sucofindo SNI 1741-2008 test of the CUBIXY steel fire door covers: tested sample, −/120/120 result, measured values and how far it applies.
Published By CUBIXY
A sample of the CUBIXY Steel & Fire Door has been fire-resistance tested in Indonesia by Sucofindo to SNI 1741-2008. The single-leaf sample reached −/120/120, meaning integrity and insulation for 120 minutes (test report E38326/FNBPAT). This article explains what the report covers: who tested it, which door was tested, what was measured and how far the result applies.
Test report, not certification
The document is a test report from a laboratory, not a product certificate. It records the result of one fire test on one sample. That is why CUBIXY writes "tested to SNI 1741-2008" and not "certified". The result applies to doors of the same type and materials as the tested sample.
Who tested it
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Laboratory | Sucofindo, Electrical and Engineering Laboratory (KAN accredited, LP-024-IDN) |
| Standard | SNI 1741-2008 |
| Report number | E38326/FNBPAT |
| Test date | 22 August 2026 |
| Report issued | 26 August 2026 |
| Result | −/120/120 (integrity and insulation 120 minutes) |
The tested sample
Single-leaf fire-rated steel door (code CWI-FD-2026-001):
- Frame: 2,100 (H) × 900 (W) mm, 120 mm steel profile of 1.5 mm steel plate.
- Door leaf: 2,050 (H) × 800 (W) × 55 (T) mm, 1.2 mm steel plate.
- Core: rockwool insulation board, 100 kg/m³.
- Hardware: three heavy-duty fire-rated hinges, fire-rated lock case, mortise lockset and intumescent seal.
Results: requirement and measured value
| Item | Requirement | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Integrity | No fire penetration for 120 minutes | No fire penetration; test stopped at 120 minutes |
| Insulation: average temperature, unexposed side | ≤ 168.4 °C | 89.5 °C at 120 minutes |
| Insulation: maximum temperature, unexposed side | ≤ 208.4 °C | 106.4 °C at 120 minutes |
| Furnace temperature at 120 minutes (test condition) | Follow the SNI 1741-2008 standard curve (1,049.0 °C at 120 minutes) | 1,038.8 °C, deviation −1.0 % from the curve |
Integrity means fire does not penetrate the door. Insulation is checked by the temperature on the side away from the fire (the unexposed side), as an average and as a maximum. The furnace temperature row shows that the test followed the standard SNI 1741-2008 heating curve.
How far the result applies
The result applies to doors of the same type and materials as the tested sample: a single-leaf steel door with the frame, leaf, core and hardware listed above. For other configurations, such as double or unequal leaves, vision panels or other sizes, ask CUBIXY before you rely on this report. Send the door type, opening size and required rating with the enquiry form.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the CUBIXY steel fire door SNI certified?
- It is tested, not certified. A single-leaf sample was tested by Sucofindo to SNI 1741-2008 and reached −/120/120, integrity and insulation for 120 minutes (test report E38326/FNBPAT). The result applies to doors of the same type and materials as the tested sample.
- Which door was tested?
- A single-leaf steel door: frame 2,100 × 900 mm with a 120 mm profile of 1.5 mm steel plate; leaf 2,050 × 800 × 55 mm of 1.2 mm steel plate with a 100 kg/m³ rockwool core; three fire-rated hinges, fire-rated lock case, mortise lockset and intumescent seal.
- What temperatures were measured on the unexposed side?
- At 120 minutes the average temperature was 89.5 °C (requirement ≤ 168.4 °C) and the maximum 106.4 °C (requirement ≤ 208.4 °C).
